After a brilliant start to 2013, the comedy at Glyndwr continues to set the bar high for the remainder of the year / start of next year.

Kicking off the start of the Autumn comedy is Daniel Sloss who will be performing at the Catrin Finch Centre on September 30th.  The young comic has just sold-out his sixth consecutive  Edinburgh Fringe Show and is preparing to release his debut DVD. Tickets are £13.50 and £10.00 concession.

October is crammed full of some of the best and most diverse comics in the business. The month kicks off with Tom Stade who will be performing at the Catrin Finch Centre. The comic has appeared on hit shows such as ‘Live At The Apollo’ and ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’. The Canadian comic has just finished at the Edinburgh Festival and will be coming to Wrexham to share his ‘laid-back and unconventional ethos on life’. Tickets for the show are £15.00.

Arguably one of the biggest comedians to come to Glyndwr, on October 12 Jimmy Carr will be performing at the William Aston Hall. The host of 8 Out of 10 Cats will be bringing his one liners and wit to the venue for an evening full of comedy, when he performs two consecutive shows on the same evening. Due to popular demand, a second show was added for 10:00pm, meaning a fantastic night is in store. Tickets are £25.00, and as you can expect the show is suitable for those over the age of 16.

Two days later Jimeoin will be taking to the stage at the William Aston Hall with his show ‘JIMEOIN – WHAT?!”. Described by The Independent as ‘Comedy of the highest order… Inspired ramblings… quiet genius!’ this is a show not to be missed. Tickets are £14.50. On October 23rd Jethro will be bringing his own unique sense of humour to the William Aston Hall.  Tickets are £19.50 and you have to be 15 and over to attend.

Adam Hills will be making his debut appearance at the William Aston Hall on the 26th of October, with his new show ‘Happyism’. The comedian became a household name after fronting ‘The Last Leg’ on Channel 4 last year. Two series later and the comedian is now bringing his laid-back style of comedy to Wrexham. Tickets are £16.00.

The penultimate act of the year is Roy Chubby Brown making his return to Wrexham on the 9th of November. Not for the easily offended, tickets for the show are £20.00.

The year closes with star of ‘Jonathan Creek’ and one of the faces of ‘QI’, Alan Davies, who will be bringing his unique comedic approach to the William Aston Hall on November 26th. Tickets are £20.00 concession and £25.00 full price.

Moving on through to 2014, the year kicks off with an appearance from Russell Howard on January 27th. The comedian will be returning to the William Aston Hall for the second time. The star of ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and ‘Live At The Apollo’ sold out last time he appeared in Wrexham, and there are only a handful of tickets left for ‘Wonderbox’. Tickets are £15.00.

On February 12 Chris Ramsay, makes his return to the William Aston Hall. A regular on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and fresh from being booted off Soccer AM last year, the comedian returns with his ‘The Most Dangerous Man On Sunday Morning Television’ tour. Tickets are £16.50.

In March Russell Kane makes it a hat-trick with his return to the William Aston Hall. On March 11 the comedian will be taking to the stage with his new tour ‘Smallness’. Tickets are £17.50.
