The Wrexham Foodbank warehouse has moved to a new location.

The charity, which had been based on Felin Puleston warehouse, has confirmed that it now located at Unit 3 on Edwards Enterprise Park, on the Rhosddu Industrial Estate.

The move took place last week due to “ongoing health and safety reasons at the Felin Puleston warehouse.”

In a statement Suzanne Nantcurivs, Chair of Trustees said: “Due to ongoing health and safety reasons at the Felin Puleston warehouse, the trustees of Wrexham Foodbank have taken the decision to move to another site in order that the foodbank continues to operate as usual and serve our community.

“Moving our stock from one warehouse to another was a massive challenge but we were relieved to have the support of the staff from Rhosddu Carpets.

“Their efforts after a full day at work were absolutely magnificent.

“They have helped us to achieve our priority of enabling us to keep our satellite centres stocked with food for clients to receive.

“A huge thank you to the staff at Rhosddu Carpets who made our move to new premises possible and a thank you also to our wonderful staff and volunteers who make this organisations so special.”

The new warehouse will reopen for donations from Tuesday 21 November between 10am and 3pm.

More information about how and when you can donate food can be found on the Wrexham Foodbank Facebook page here.
