Wrexham based Riello plans to merge UK businesses under one subsidiary

Constant Power Services Ltd, Powertecnique Ltd, and Riello UPS Ltd will merge into a single UK entity under the brand Riello UPS Ltd.

Riello UPS Ltd is a leader in the manufacture of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and standby power systems from 400VA to 6.4MVA. The company is part of the Riello Elettronica group which has support offices in 85 countries.

The UK branch of Riello UPS is located in Wrexham where they operate from large purpose-built premises comprising office and training facilities as well as a fully stocked warehouse. This enables an end-to-end service of comprehensive technical support and fast product dispatch.

Riello say, “This strategic merger aims to enhance service offerings, expand customer support, and drive innovation in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) industry.

“Integrating the strengths, expertise, and resources of Constant Power Services and Powertecnique into the already well-established Riello UPS brand will create a unified entity that is better positioned to meet evolving customer needs.

“Upon implementation of the merger at the start of next year, it will result in the number of Riello UPS employees more than doubling from its current figure of just under 90 to more than 180, with engineering resource specifically more than trebling.

“While in addition to the 27,500 square foot Riello UPS headquarters in Wrexham, North Wales, the unified company will enjoy a truly nationwide presence thanks to its two offices in the south of England, plus another facility in Scotland.

“The merger underscores Riello UPS’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service, cutting-edge technology, and reliable power protection solutions to clients across the UK and beyond.”
