An investigation has been launched after two livestock attacks in Wrexham.

North Wales Police Rural Crime Team said it had received reports of two separate livestock attacks at the same location on land at the rear of Cwmalis Road in Fron.

The first incident took place on the weekend of the 8 and 9 June while the second is reported to have occurred on June 17.

It is believed that two dogs were involved in the livestock.

A police spokesperson said: “Clearly there is a real issue at this location and these dogs need catching before more sheep are killed.

“If you can help at all please contact us via web chat on our force website or by 101 quoting incident reference 24000545206.”
