Wrexham residents are being reminded to fill in their voting registration forms.

Eligible voters will soon be receiving their electoral registration forms through the post. This is to ensure the electoral register is as up-to-date as possible ahead of next year’s elections, including European Parliament elections.

Everyone is encouraged to complete their registration form and return it promptly to ensure they can have their say.

Dr Helen Paterson said, Wrexham’s Returning Officer, said: “Registering to vote is quick and simple. All you have to do is update the annual canvass form with details of everyone who lives in the household and is eligible to vote; and return it to us as soon as possible. It’s your vote, don’t lose it.”

Residents who don’t receive their form can contact the elections team on 01978 292020 or print one off at www.aboutmyvote.co.uk .

For more information, contact your local Electoral Registration Office on 01978 292020.
