Traditional exteriors planned for several city centre shops
Several city centre buildings look set to have new shop frontages installed as part of a heritage scheme.
Applications have been submitted for 4, 6-8, 10 and 2 Henblas Street.
The plans include traditional, green exteriors (as pictured above) either being reinstated or installed on the properties as part of the “original conversation specification.”
Works including the removal of timber classing, replacement windows at ground floor level, cast iron guttering and downpipes are also planned for the buildings.
The proposals have been submitted by the local authority as part of the Townscape Heritage Scheme, which aims to renovate some of the older buildings within the city’s conservation area.
The applications will be considered for approval by Wrexham Council at a later date.
