Appeals for information have been issued after two sheds in Wrexham were broken into this week.

Yesterday Carrie contacted Wrexham.com to say that overnight Monday through Tuesday a relative’s shed on Vrynwy Way, Caia Park had been broken into by thieves. Two petrol strimmers, two chainsaws and drills were stolen from the shed – along with a 6ft fence panel.

Carrie told Wrexham.com: “They couldn’t enter the garden through the gate as it was all bolted up, so they removed the fence panel to gain entry and took it with them as well. By taking the fence panel as well they have stopped my little nephew playing in the garden.”

A second shed was also broken into overnight on Tanat Way, Caia Park – which resulted in thieves stealing a television from the property.

Anyone with any further information on the first incident is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number S172689.

Police are advising people to, as always, ensure their sheds are locked.
