Three appeals launched amid “increase in residential burglaries”

Police have issued a warning to households across Wrexham following a rise in residential burglaries.
In the last week three houses have been targeted, with NWP Wrexham Town issuing an appeal for the following:
- Gernant, Caia Park: Any information can be reported to 101 quoting 24000526102
- Aston Grove, Rhosnesni: Any information can be reported to 101 quoting 24000528007
- Box Lane, Acton: Any information can be reported to 101 quoting 24000543260
NWP Wrexham Town are also encouraging residents to take onboard force-wide advice to help reduce your risk of being a victim to burglary.
This includes:
- CCTV
- Alarms
- Security lighting
- Gravel driveways and paths
- Plastic spikes on fences

A high value car was also stolen from an address on Lytham Court, on the Fairways, on 19 June.
The theft is thought to have taken place in the early hours of the morning on the 19th.
Any information can be reported to North Wales Police on 101 or via the online webchat.
Details of the burglaries were provided as part of a weekly round-up of policing in the city centre area.
In the last week 271 incidents were reported to North Wales Police, with 38 arrests made.
Incidents dealt with including warrants for failing to attend court, recalls to prison, drink driving, shoplifting, affray and drug pocession.
