The Wrexham Lager Beer Co makes its Canadian debut with help from Ryan Reynolds
The Wrexham Lager Beer Co, the oldest lager brewery in Great Britain, has embarked on its first pre-season international football tour after securing a presence at Wrexham A.F.C.’s match with Vancouver Whitecaps.
Wrexham Lager was served in high footfall bar locations throughout at the renowned BC Place Stadium, as well as portable kegs in the Wrexham A.F.C fan zone which was specially constructed.
The Wrexham Lager Beer Co is one of the longest standing sponsors of Wrexham A.F.C – which is now owned by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
This was the Wrexham Lager Beer Co’s first appearance in North America in what is an exciting period of international expansion for the business, which has already seen the brand successfully enter Scandinavia.
The family run Wrexham Lager Beer Co prides itself on its high-quality lagers which are made with the finest Welsh water and carefully selected ingredients.
As well as being light, refreshing and easy to drink, the subtly hopped Wrexham Lager, which was been chosen to be served at the stadium in Vancouver, provides a nice malt flavour and has a clean aroma.
James Wright, CEO of the Wrexham Lager Beer Co said: “It’s incredible to follow the football team across the Atlantic and achieve our first presence in North America.
“The feedback from the fans and other local stakeholders was resoundingly positive.
“This is a big milestone for the brand and precedes a number of important conversations we’re having in the region.”
