Swing into the 1940s with D-Day Darlings at Bellevue Park!

A jam-packed weekend of events at Bellevue Park will kick off on Friday (12 July) with a step back in time with the D-Day Darlings.

Wrexham Swing in The Park, organised by Fair Events Management Ltd, promises to be an unforgettable night of music that will transport you back to the 1940s.

The first of its kind event for Wrexham will begin with the swinging beats from the Chester Big Band and 6pm and 7pm.

Visitors will then be treated to a performance at 8pm from Britain’s Got Talent stars, the D-Day Darlings.

Expect to hear their stunning renditions of songs such as We’ll Meet Again, Keep The Homefires Burning, Dambusters, Run Rabbit Run and much more.

A spokesperson for Fair Events Management Ltd, said: “Set in the picturesque Bellevue Park, right in the heart of Wrexham City Centre, this event promises to captivate your senses with its stunning venue and incredible music.

“Enjoy a delightful array of street food, refreshing drinks from the bar, and unique shopping opportunities.

“Plus, there will be family activities and a charming vintage fairground with rides for all ages!

“Don’t miss out on this fabulous evening event, which is followed the following day by the vibrant Wrexham City Carnival during the day and an Evening Proms Performance in the exact location on Saturday, 13 July (tickets sold separately).”

Gates for Swing in the Park will open at 5pm. with street food stalls also on offer.

Alcohol and glass are not permitted – but an onsite bar will be open. However visitors are welcome to bring a picnic or purchase street food from the event.

The event has supported by UKSPF, Fair Event, Wrexham Council and City of Culture.
