A local children’s hospice charity is hosting a breathtaking evening walk up Wales’ highest peak.

Taking place on Saturday 27 July Hope House Tŷ Gobaith Machlud Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon Sunset will be an evening to remember – rounded off with delicious hot local food.

Setting off from the picturesque village of Llanberis, hikers will be guided by mountain leaders to the 1,085m summit in plenty of time to enjoy the breath-taking sunset over the Eryri range and towards the coast.

For a £25 sign-up fee and commitment to raise a minimum of £100, participants will be led by experienced staff, get the opportunity to capture magical photos and enjoy delicious hot fresh pizza on return – as well as securing a bespoke medal and goody bag with commemorative Buff.

LVL 5 Gyms of Llandudno have joined forces with the hospices to become headline sponsor this summer.

Hope House Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, Andy Everley said: “On the 27th July we look forward to scaling Yr Wyddfa to see the sunset over the glorious Eryri mountain range.

“With the generous support of Rich and Siôn from LVL 5 as our headline sponsor, we march not just towards the summit, but towards brighter futures for the 750 local families we support.

“LVL 5’s kindness guarantees that every penny raised will directly contribute to our care, respite and bereavement support services.”
