Wrexham Council’s Standards Committee meeting has reappeared on the calendar of business after an ‘admin error’.

There was a Special Standards Committee held on Thursday morning at the Guildhall. The meeting appeared interesting as it contained an item of business indicating a 200 page report from the council’s legal officer:

Standards Hearing
To consider the report of the Monitoring Officer (Pages 3 – 218)

The contents of those pages were ‘restricted’, and the meeting was not public.

Wrexham.com was keeping an eye on the meeting page on the council’s website, until it disappeared at some point.

We asked Wrexham Council why the meeting was removed, and what the outcome of the meeting was – if it was in the public interest to be made public, and if not, the reason why.

As of yet there is no known outcome from the meeting.
