A shed in Wrexham was last night set alight by arsonists.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at Bryn Hafod, Caia Park at around 5:45pm yesterday evening.

A quantity of rubbish inside the scene was set alight and one crew from Wrexham extinguished the blaze.

The incident is being treated as deliberate ignition and no one was injured as a result of the fire.

Last week a 49-year-old man was hospitalised after suffering smoke inhalation after the letterbox of a property on Bryn Hafod that suffered fire damage.

A car and a skip on the street were also set alight on the same night last weekend.
