Ruabon car fire “believed to have been started deliberately”

A vehicle fire in Ruabon is believed to have been started deliberately.

Crews from Johnstown Fire Station were called to the blaze in the village in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

In a statement posted on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “We were called to a car on fire in the area of Ruabon in the early hours of yesterday morning.

“The fire is thought to have been started deliberately.

“Deliberate fires are a serious crime and will be dealt with by the full force of the law.”
