Roadshow Will Help Householders Save on Energy Bills

Local residents are being invited to attend an event to help them save money on their energy bills

Wrexham Council’s Housing Service is organising a four day Energy Efficiency roadshow, in partnership with The Welsh Government’s Warm Homes Nest scheme and Groundwork North Wales.

The roadshow aims to provide energy advice and assistance to all householders in Wrexham.

The Welsh Government’s Warm Homes Nest scheme has been set up to provide households on lower incomes with access to a range of advice and support to help them reduce their energy bills. They provide advice on saving energy, money management, energy tariffs, and benefit entitlement.

Staff from the Council’s Housing Service will also be available to provide advice on other issues such as provides advice on other housing and energy issues, such as the Loan Improvement Scheme, Community Switch and ‘Rent Smart Wales’, the new private landlord licensing scheme.

The roadshow will be held at the shop unit of 23 Henblas Street in Wrexham town centre and will be open from Monday 18 January 2016 to Thursday 21 January 2016 from 10am to 3pm.
