Remember to take photo ID when going to vote on Thursday!

Voters heading to the polling station on Thursday 4 July are being reminded to take photo ID.
This is the first General Election which has required photo ID to be presented in order to cast your vote.
Acceptable forms of photo ID that you can use are:
- A driving licence (or provisional driving license) issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or by the European Economic Area (EEA)
- UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or Commonwealth passport
- European Economic Area (EEA) photographic ID card
- An identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (PASS card)
- A Blue Badge
- Older Person’s Bus Pass
- Disabled Person’s Bus Pass
- Oyster 60+ Card
Voters will be able to use expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo.
If you have applied for a proxy vote then the person appointed to vote for you will have to take their own photo ID.
