Overnight a number of homes across Wrexham experienced brief and sometimes continuous power dips.

Nerys Jones contacted us just after 9pm asking if anyone else’s electric kept going off, with Kayleigh Brooks also getting in touch asking if anyone else in Cefn Mawr was having issues with their electricity.

Alison Owen Tweeted to say that it only lasted a few seconds, but it was enough to cause the TV, Broadband and dishwasher to reset themselves.

Homes in Rhos, Plas Madoc, Ruabon, Glyn Ceiriog, Acrefair, Penycae and Trevor were affected by the power dips. However the power outages also hit homes as far as Bala.

It is currently unknown what has caused the issues with electricity.
