Officers from NWP Wrexham Town are urging motorists to ensure that their vehicles are secure and that valuables are removed.

With the nights starting to draw in autumn upon us there is often a rise in opportunistic thefts from cars and vans.

Police say that over the coming weeks and months residents may see an increase in patrols in the evenings and nights.

These including insuring that your car or van is locked and that valuables are removed to deter any incidents from taking place.
