Police renew appeal for missing Matthew Williams and urge Penycae residents to check CCTV

Residents in Penycae and surrounding areas are being urged to check Ring Doorbell and CCTV footage to help trace a missing man.

Matthew Williams was last seen in the Cristionydd area of Penycae at approximately 1pm on Monday 23 October.

North Wales Police say that Matthew was last seen wearing a green or blue jacket with white trainers.

In an appeal posted on NWP Wrexham Rural, a spokesperson said: “Please can we make a further request for everyone to check your CCTV cameras and Ring doorbells in the area of Cristionydd, Penycae and all surrounding areas.

“Mathew Williams was last seen in this area at approximately 1300hours on Monday 23 October, he was wearing a green or blue jacket and white trainers.

“We are trying to confirm a direction of travel for Matthew, all help is much appreciated.

“Please contact North Wales Police and quote itrace 46624.”
