Police Appeal After Acton Motorbike Crash Leaves Teenger With Serious Injuries

Police in Wrexham are appealing for information and witnesses following a collision in Acton last night.

Officers were alerted to the collision involving a motorbike and a Toyota Yaris car at 8.03pm which happened on the junction of Elm Grove and Oak Drive.

The Ambulance Service were informed and the rider of the motorbike, a teenage boy, was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital having sustained serious but not life threatening injuries.

The road was cordoned off for a time and re-opened at 11.48pm.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is urged to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit based in Deeside on 101 quoting reference number R073870. Alternatively, individuals with information can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
