New plans have been put forward which could see an office building turned into a martial arts centre.

An application has been submitted to Wrexham Council in relation to a property on Pandy Business Park.

It requests permission to change the use of the building for leisure purposes to accommodate a family-run martial arts training and fitness facility.

The documents note the proposals would create one part-time job.

No objections have been received from any statutory bodies to date, with the local authority’s highways department stating: “We confirm that we have no objection to this proposal subject to the provision of eight parking spaces and a cycle space.

“The site is an established existing industrial / commercial business spark and there are no grounds to object from a highways perspective.”

The plans will be considered for a decision at a later date.
