Man dies after “concern for safety incident” in Wrexham

A man has died after a ‘concern for safety’ incident in Wrexham.

Shortly before 8:40am this morning North Wales Police were called to the Stansty Road area after receiving a report of a concern for safety of an individual.

A road closure was out in place on Stansty Road and on the A483 southbound whilst the incident was ongoing.

Sadly a man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “Shortly before 8.40am this morning, we received a report of concern for the safety of a man.

“Officers and other emergency services attended the scene on Stansty Road in Wrexham.

“A road closure was put in place on Stansty Road and on the A483 southbound whilst the incident was ongoing.

“Sadly, a man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“His family has been informed and the circumstances of the man’s death are not being treated as suspicious.”
