Man appears in court charged with assaulting an emergency worker

A 27-year-old man today appeared before Llandudno Magistrates Court charged with non-fatal strangulation and assaulting an emergency worker.

It comes after a police officer was assaulted in Johnstown, Wrexham, shortly after 12am on Wednesday, March .

Breck Williams, 27, of Trem y Gardden, Penycae, was remanded in custody to appear before Mold Crown Court on April 6.

Police say he was also charged with several motoring offences including dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving with no insurance and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
