Local Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has tonight been charged with attempted murder after a university student was stabbed and two others were assaulted in Wrexham last week.

21-year-old Gary Douglas from the Llay area has also been charged with assault, affray and three counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He will appear at Wrexham Magistrates Court tomorrow.
