Members of the public are being encouraged to join together and take part in this year’s Wrexham Walk for Dementia.

Taking place at Erddig on Sunday September 8 the walk through the National Trust grounds aims to raise awareness and money to support those living with dementia.

It’s also a chance to remember those affected by dementia or are no longer with us.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Join us at National Trust Erddig on Sunday, September 8, 2024 to participate in this year’s Wrexham Walk for Dementia.

“The team from Dementia Friendly Wrexham will be there from 10.30am to welcome you to the walk, and will be on hand to offer you information about dementia-friendly services and activities in Wrexham.

“Please do come and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery at Erddig – the walk is open to all, so please bring along your family and friends.

“Dogs are allowed on the walk but must be kept on a lead in certain areas.”

The Wrexham Walk for Dementia will take place at Erddig at 10:30am on Sunday September 8. Those taking part can meet at the main entrance in the courtyard at Erddig.
