A third car fire this week has been tackled in the early hours of this morning.

Local fire crews from Johnstown fire station have said, “At 00:12 this morning we were called to another car fire, this time in the area of Rhosllanerchrugog and again the ignition of the fire is thought to be deliberate. This is now the 3rd car fire in 3 days”

“North Wales Police were notified and the owner has CCTV so hopefully the police will be able to identify the culprit”

No police appeal has been released yet.

The Welsh Ambulance service have previously said, “While we appreciate some incidents may be of interest to the public, this is not the same as in the public interest. We therefore no longer respond to enquiries about routine incidents, including minor RTCs, unless there is significant disruption or other extenuating circumstances. Most RTCs on the thousands of miles of road we serve are minor and do not involve serious injury or major disruption.”
