Wrexham.com for people living in or visiting the Wrexham area

Do you love hosting a good dinner party, or even drinks and nibbles with great company?

This September Hope House Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices is giving you the chance to polish the cutlery and chill the wine guilt-free as you raise funds with their ‘Let’s Do Dinner’ campaign.

Those who take part in the foodie experience will receive a free fundraising pack including invitations, place name cards, recipe suggestions from familiar faces, a free limited-edition bottle opener and even games and sweepstake kit to add to the fun.

And what’s more, the charity even has celebrity backing from a top chef and TV personality who has created a Banoffee Pie dessert recipe for the event and filmed a special video message for the charity set to be released on social media next week. Keep your eyes peeled on August 2 for the big reveal.

Fundraiser Vanessa Marubbi, said: “What a perfect reason to get together with loved ones and enjoy some quality time and delicious food together.

“It really is so easy. Just host a dinner party, or even a BBQ, at your home or other venue and ask your friends to make a donation or take part in other fun activities such as a raffle or quiz.

“We’ll be right behind all our diners to help them make their event a great success and raise those vital funds to support local children and families.”

You can register for your free fundraising pack here or call the fundraising team on (01492) 596581.
