Residents across North Wales are being reminded that they can still access emergency eye care and support at some optometrist practices across the region.

While most practices have been asked to close to help reduce the spread of COVD-19, some have remained open to provide urgent care only.

In Wrexham both the Specsavers on Regent Street and I Matters Eyecare on Henblas Street remain open for emergency eye care.

Tim Morgan, optometric advisor to Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, said: “It is important that people know where they can get help and support to look after their eyes when they need it.

“If you develop an eye problem you can phone the Wales Eye Care Enquiry Line on 01267 248793.”
