Death Of Wrexham Male Being Treated As ‘Suspicious’

An appeal for information has been launched after a Wrexham male died after attending an event at a skate park in Oswestry.

Police were called following a report of the death of a man in the early hours of Saturday morning. The death of the male is being treated as suspicious.

A statement released by West Mercia Police said: “The 20-year-old man from Wrexham, had attended an event at a skatepark on Rednal Industrial Estate, Oswestry, Shropshire. He was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased, his next of kin have been informed.”

His cause of death is unknown, but police are treating it as suspicious.

Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have attended the event or have any information, to contact them on telephone 101 quoting incident 219s of 1 November 2014.
