CCTV appeal after ‘several windows smashed’ in Summerhill with a hammer

Local police have issued the above CCTV image, noting it is low quality, but asking “… if you recognise the person, or suspect it might be you, please get in touch”.

Wrexham Rural police said, “We want to speak to the person in the below images who may have information following an incident of criminal damage in Wrexham.

“At around 2.40am on Friday, July 19th, it was reported a person approached a property in the area of Ash Close and Cedar Drive in Summerhill and smashed several windows.

“The person, who appeared to use a hammer in the incident, then ran away in the general direction of Cedar Drive.

“We are asking the person pictured below, or anyone who might recognise him, to contact us.

“Anyone with information, or anyone who witnessed the incident is also asked to get in touch via the website, or by calling 101, using reference 24000630420.”

They added, “We understand the low quality of the footage makes it difficult to identify the individual. However, if you recognise the person, or suspect it might be you, please get in touch.”
