Careers Wales Centre open day on Wednesday offers ‘full day of careers advice, employability support & expert-led sessions’

Working Wales is hosting an open day at their Careers Wales Centre in Wrexham, offering a full day of careers advice, employability support, and expert-led sessions.

The event will provide tailored support for those seeking CV advice, assistance with interview skills, or an opportunity to explore career options.

The open day is on Wednesday (9th) between 9:30am – 4pm at the Wrexham Careers Centre, Egerton House, Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 1EQ

Working Wales have explained that the event is free to attend, and no booking is required. Drop in at any time to take advantage of the services and sessions available throughout the day:

Careers advisers will be available for drop-in appointments, providing instant advice to those seeking career guidance

Anyone who brings their CV and would like professional feedback, can bring it along for a one-to-one review

There will also be group sessions on interview skills, offering expert tips on how to present yourself during interviews

Public access computers will be set up with various career-related websites and online skills resources for visitors to explore

There will be a vacancy board displaying current job opportunities, and a QR code to sign up to the latest vacancy bulletins.

Louise Evans, Working Wales team manager, said: “Our open day in Wrexham is a great opportunity for individuals from the area to receive practical, tailored support in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

“Our team is here to provide practical, hands-on support to help people take the next step, whether that’s improving CVs, getting ready for an interview, or simply exploring new opportunities.

“What’s best about this event, is that everyone is welcome to drop in, access instant careers support, and leave feeling more confident about their future.”

Working Wales is delivered by Careers Wales and funded by the Welsh Government to provide careers guidance and employability support to those aged 16 and above.
