Prospective students are being encouraged to find out what Prifysgol Wrecsam/Wrexham University can offer them during its next undergraduate open day taking place this weekend.

The event, taking place on Saturday 21 October between 10am and 2pm, will give potential students and their families an insight into university life, as well as find out what undergraduate degree courses are available to study at Wrexham University.

As part of the day, there will be subject specific talks, campus tours and presentations on what it’s like to study at Wrexham, funding, accommodation and more.

Helena Eaton, Director of Marketing and Recruitment at Prifysgol Wrecsam/Wrexham University, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming potential students and their families to our next open day event, taking place this weekend. Our open days are a great way of finding out more about the courses we offer, the opportunities available, and what life is like here in Wrexham.

“We pride ourselves on our welcoming and community-centred approach, where we get to know our students as individuals and where they can be part of something special.

“Come and meet our friendly staff and students, and get a feel for what it’s like to study here with us, as well as ask any questions you might have. We’re excited to welcome you and provide a feel for what it’s like to study in Wales’ newest city.”

In recent weeks, it was announced that the university has remained first in England and Wales for social inclusion for the sixth year running – as well as, once again, being ranked in the top 10 in the UK for teaching quality in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024.
