Appeal for witnesses after two assaulted in Brymbo

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after two separate incidents on busses in Brymbo.

At around 5pm on Thursday, June 27, a man travelling on the number 12 Arriva bus to Brymbo is reported to have assaulted a passenger as he got off the bus on Edwards Avenue.

Shortly after at around 5.40pm, a teenage passenger travelling on a separate number 12 Arriva bus in Brymbo was also assaulted outside the Premier store on Offa Street, Brymbo.

A 45-year-old man has since been arrested and has been remanded in prison for a number of offences.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “Any information to assist us in identifying the victims would be greatly appreciated.
