Appeal after “substantial damage” caused to primary forest school

Police are appealing for information after “substantial damage” was caused to a primary school’s forest school.

NWP Wrexham Rural said it had received reports of damage to the Ysgol Maes Y Mynydd facility on Llwyneinion road.

It is believed to have taken place between the evening of February 22 and the morning of February 23.

A spokesperson for NWP Wrexham Rural said: “We have had reports of damaged caused to Ysgol Maes Y Mynydd new forest school on Llwyneinion road, which occurred sometime between the evening of 22/2/24 and the morning of 23/02/24.

“Substantial damage has been caused to the fencing which has been erected to ensure the safety of the children while they attend the new forest school.
