72-Year-Old Missing Man Found Safe

A man who was missing from the Cymau area of Wrexham has been found safe and well.

The 72-year-old was found in the Cefn-y-bedd area at around 2.45pm today by two members of the public.

Local Inspector Andy Jones said: “I’d like to thank everyone who responded to our appeals and assisted in the search for the man who has now been found safe and well.”

Peter Quinn was last seen at around 4.30am this morning and has not been seen since.

The 72-year-old is described as 6ft tall, of stocky build and has quite short grey/ white hair. He was last seen wearing a blue / white top, cream coloured shorts which go below the knee, socks and brown shoes. Peter also wears glasses, is clean shaven and described as having a Liverpool accent.

Searches involving the police helicopter are being undertaken in the Wrexham area to locate Peter and police are calling on anyone who may have seen him or a man matching his description to call officers immediately on 101 quoting reference number P130775.
