And so it came to pass ….. looks like any sort of development gets greenlighted if they keep persisting.

The council used some incredibly shaky ground to object to it originally. The inspector for the appeal threw out everything but the phosphates issue was around to save them from it being allowed on appeal then.

All McDs had to do was wait for Welsh Water to say its all fine.

Some 16 year olds are more mature than others GrumpyGit. When you see how many 16 year olds are involved in knife crime in inner cities & you read about youngsters with too much time on their hands creating havoc around town & villages at night-time in our own area, you are one of the lucky parents.

Not only can this apply to 20 and 30 year olds but I seriously doubt those types of 16 year olds would have interest in voting.

That would appear to be the case, but I’m not sure if that’s set by the Uni or the Car Park operator they’ve farmed it out to.

Council might have to bite the bullet on residents permit parking around that end of town. Won’t be cheap but it would solve the issues permanently.

It’s the major problem with grant money. We get nice new things but not the budget to maintain them..

I believe there is a not-insignificant chance that Crispin lane will be permanently closed at the Mold Road end with these active travel improvements. This link should show the scheme from 2021 if it works.

    Example.

Not legally enforcable on their own, but you’re usually already in a 20 by the time you see one anyway.

Seems a bit pointless to me, it’s like banning criminals from breaking the law.

Better enforcement is the answer, but where does that money come from?

It’s when a body corporate (aka the councils) are acting as parents for kids etc

I’ve said it before but if certain councillors put the same effort into solving important issues as they do trying to hoover up NIMBY support this county borough would be in a lot better shape.

It seems a lot of planning apps from mid-December are currently being added. There are definitely ones with validation dates of the 18th and earlier that have appeared in the past few days.

This seems to have become normal. I don’t think the “Utopia City” plans for the industrial estate that are dated late July didn’t appear on the site until late August.

It makes the “last week submitted” search completely useless given more can turn up a month later.
