Some good work going on in Wrexham on the High street. Was told today that the residents on the High street have had notice that once the work is finished a utility service is going to dig up the street to do some pipework. Don’t know if it’s true.

Over the years there have been many changes to the High Street. In the early “20’s” the Council decided to reduce the width of the High Street at some considerable cost. Unfortunately, in 2009 because of width of road congestion issues, bus services were pulled, never to return. The Council then decided because of the congestion to rethink and increased the width to accommodate a 19 seater town centre run around bus. This project did not last long before that was also pulled. History may tell us they are finally getting it right, time will tell.
